Sure it was late on Friday afternoon when Republican presidential nominee John McCain visited the south metro suburb of Lakeville, Minnesota. Sure you had to commit to some campaign volunteer time to gain admittance to the town hall-style meeting at Lakeville South High School. Sure, there was the typical "interesting" question asked by a more aged McCain supporter.
I'd be very interested in your take on this comment in the video.
Thanks to Bill, via Aaron and via TheUptake for this video.
Check out MinnPics for any photos from the Lakeville town hall meeting I can unearth and be sure to visit This Week Live for a well-written story and great comments as well as a gallery of rally photos. More here at Metblogs on the past week's borderline insanity.

LOL so "arab" is the new N-word then?
Aw jeez people. If you hear ANYONE calling Barack Obama an Arab or a terrorist or a something similar, please don't let it go by without a "What, are you some kind of idiot?" comment.
This simply called ignorance with a little touch of racism I suppose. I think McCain answered directly and clearly (I heard 5 "no's" if I am not mystaken. I am surprised (pleasantly maybe?) that this question was asked so close to the election though...
