In addition to all of the calorie-filled food (both new and old creations) available at the 2012 Minnesota State Fair, there is also this fire eating lady. I am not one for ingesting fire but I would watch this cool trick over and over again and could even be talked in to trying it with a flaming marshmallow on the right evening.

I am not a fan of the Kardashian clan but I will say that Kim Kardashian has a smoking hot body. Factor in Kim Kardashian's display of camel toe in this photo and you have a winning combination. Why, though, is camel toe in some celebrities so easy to spot? I suspect it's a two-fold problem. The first being that they are obviously wearing pants which are far too tight in the crotchal region. The second contributing factor to celebrity camel toe is, and this is only a hypothesis, that the region in question has... oh, hell, I'm not even going to say it because it would be too vulgar even for this website.

Camel toe or cameltoe - inside the London Olympics

The two-plus weeks of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London are grueling for everyone, myself included. Each day I carefully pour through hundreds, sometimes thousands of photos from a plethora of sources in an effort to find interesting, weird, scandalous and sexy photographs of top-notch Olympic athletes. First and foremost in my search are the ever-elusive camel toe (some search for it as cameltoe, so there it is) photos.

Then comes the easier nipple photos. The majority of those come from the outdoor sports and being that London is a cooler climate, this year's Olympic games have been a goldmine for Olympic nipple photos. Lastly is the periodic showcase of hot/sexy Olympic athletes and perfect butts or hot asses.

Yes, I actually do research on these athletes -- think along the lines of Antonija Misura, Elsa Baquerizo and basically every member of the Olympic delegations from Spain, Italy and, of course, Brazil. The countries of the former Soviet Union are also a great source of hot Olympic bodies.

Lady Gaga - Alejandro video

Outside of some simulated sexual intercourse and some S&M going on, Lady Gaga's video for her latest single, "Alejandro", is far from shocking. She's made the epic music video her trademark in the last year so an eight-plus minute clip for a four-minute song isn't much of a surprise. Lady Gaga is going to have to step it up a few notches. Oh, sure, she struts around fora bit with machine guns attached to her bra and spends the majority of the video just one step above naked but that's who she is. In being shocking, Lady Gaga has taken the shock out of her shocking and isually stunning imagery. To me, the video for "Alejandro" tries too damn hard to be edgy, shocking and cool and instead falls sort of flat.

My hairstylist could do without prom

As I was getting my hair did yesterday, the conversation turned to prom season. It's just around the corner and it signals Spring and the approach of Summer. It also means one terror-filled day for hairdressers everywhere.

Her main gripe was with the snippy little bitches who tear a page out of a magazine of a dolled up teen starlet and demand that very same hairstyle. All for 50 bucks. I can relate because I have clients demand a certain look and based on what I'm being paid, they get what I give them. It's a lot like a counterfeit Rolex. It's close but anyone who sees it knows that it's just not the same.

From hairstyles and the bitchy girls who demand that this curl go the opposite direction, we moved towards the excesses of the modern prom. From stretch limos to dresses that A.) cost what my wife's wedding dress did to B.) the skanky, too-short dresses girls wear to formal dances.

Now before you call me a codger or an angry old coot, I'm only 30 years old but just twelve or fourteen years ago when I went to my junior and senior prom, the girls weren't wearing ultra-short, hey, look at my panties-type dresses (and that's if the girls today are even bothering to wear underthings...) or at least my dates weren't.

So what has changed? Has fifteen or so years seen changes so drastic that I should just give up and admit that I am hopelessly disconnected from all things younger? And since when does prom have to be the teenage equivalent of a wedding? I know one thing, my daughter's going to pay her own way if she sees the need for a stretch limo, hundred dollar hairdo and a barely-there dress because the one difference between a wedding and prom is that very few couples have sex in the back seat of their parents' car on their wedding night. The same can not be said for prom night.

Lady Gaga rocks face pearls, cameltoe?

I'll be damned if Lady Gaga didn't strike again at give America an entirely new look to critique. I'll give her credit for braving what New Yorkers are calling a "blizzard" wearing fishnets, a bikini, about 8 inch tall platform boots and a shitload of pearls glued to random areas of her body.

Sure, this is about as far from news as things can get but no matter what people think, she hasn't gotten to the top of the popular music mountain by being a talentless hack. Her music, while not for everybody, is legitimately popular. She sells singles via iTunes better than almost nobody else and she has dominated radio for the past year without taking a break.

The best I can come up with is that she's a distraction. During times like these (dank, cold weather following nearly endless snowfall; shitty economic situations; etc.) we would rather be distracted than reminded about our own pitiful lives and if that means visiting Huffington Post to look at Lady Gaga - a performance pop artist - and critique her latest "holy shit" fashion moment then so be it. I know I'd rather take a break and check out an attractive woman - yes, she is normal underneath all the make-up and bizarre outfits - than focus on the fact that my needs hundreds of dollars of repairs in the near future. Factor in that either Lady Gaga's sporting some camel toe or her pearl bikini bottom is somewhat wrinkled and awkwardly positioned and the photo above is the most perfect blogosphere fodder yet this week. (Take that George W. Bush billboard in Wyoming, MN!)
