With the University of Maryland Joining the Big Ten (currently an ACC member) and Rutgers - a founding member of the Big East conference - set to follow this east coast migration to the Big Ten, the most academically prestigious NCAA conference (outside of the Ivy League schools) will have 14 members and be on par in terms of membership with the SEC. But to think that this is all about academics is insane. It's all about the next big NCAA football broadcast deal for the Big Ten.
The Big Ten's football games are currently aired on ABC, ESPN and the conference's own Big Ten Network which is the conference's true cash cow and bringing in a couple of east coast schools and getting potentially millions of homes into the Big Ten Network fold means millions of additional dollars per year from cable subscribers who may or may not care about receiving the Big Ten Network but will pay for it anyhow as a part of their expanded basic cable package.
The other part of this addition to the Big Ten is that is a subtraction of schools from other NCAA athletic conferences -- this time the ACC and the Big East. This round of NCAA conference alignment -- with the Big Ten again leading the charge as they did two years ago in picking up the University of Nebraska from what seemed a certain-to-crumble Big 12 conference -- will more than likely be the end-game that sports rubes have had wet dreams about for years.
With the ACC losing Maryland, they'll likely pick up the University of Connecticut from the certain-to-collapse Big East who will go member shopping for anyone desperate enough to sidle up alongside the likes of Temple, the University of Central Florida and the Middle-Bronx College of Culinary Arts (not an actual college that I know of). This move, too, will make the ACC look shaky and have other conferences -- mainly the Big 12 who currently has ten member universities and the greedy SEC who stands at 14 member universities -- looking to pick off an ACC member or two who would welcome the greener pastures of the Big 12 or SEC despite the hefty $50 million exit fee from the ACC.
The Big Ten expansion to 14 schools will also make the Pac 12 (which appropriately has 12 member universities in western states as far east as Colorado) look towards Texas, Texas Tech, the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University as they want ot hit the somehow magical number of sixteen members first for bragging rights, if nothing else.
The NCAA conference landscape will again change entirely all for the almighty television dollars from ESPN, Fox and ultimately from the pockets of cable television subscribers who seem ready to consume anything shown to them on their charged-to-their-credit-card 70" LED HDTV set they picked up on Black Friday/Thursday after waiting in line outside of Walmart for 8 hours rather that socialize with their extended family who they see once each year.
Let's not look ahead to Black Friday but instead remember today -- Monday, November 19, 2012 -- as Black Monday, the day which truly showed us the college athletics isn't about competition on the field, court or ice but instead that it's about competition for cable subscribers and advertising dollars.

Jordyn Wieber - facts or photos?
The most famous gymnast to come out of the United States Gymnastics team from the London 2012 Summer Olympics has to be Jordyn Wieber. The 17 year-old Michigan-born gymnast recently celebrated her Olympic gold medal by throwing out the first pitch of a Detroit Tigers game as the glimpse into her Twitter feed and accompanying video below shows.
Will we remember the 5' 2" tall Jordyn Wieber in four years when the summer Olympics take over Rio De Janeiro, Brazil? Will we care about any controversy which surrounded her during the London Olympics? Will anyone remember the facts about Jordyn Wieber (such as her weight - a mere 115 lbs.) or will it be the photos of the petite gymnast that stand the test of time? Will we remember the perky cuteness / hotness of the spunky gymnast from Michigan? Will she still have those crazy rippling abs in ten years?
Check out my pitch at the Detroit Tigers game on Wednesday! Not bad for a gymnast right? :) youtube.com/watch?v=iekjhI…

What is up the cheerleaders' skirts?
Based on the ghastly reactions of the cheerleaders holding up their fellow cheerleaders, there must be something pretty horrible going on under their cheerleader skirts. My mind is racing around the possibilities (like maybe they both simultaneously soiled themselves from a night of eating copious amounts of Taco Bell) but take a guess. I'd love to hear the range of possibilities.

Misty May Treanor on Wheaties box
American Gold Medalist Misty May Treanor has landed on the front of a Wheaties box following the beach volleyball gold medal win of her and teammate Kristi Walsh Jennings at the London Olympics but, um, where is Jennings on the box?
It turns out that the other half of the Olympic gold medal team has a deal with rival Kellogg's (Wheaties is a General Mills brand). Michael Phelps also landed a spot on his own Wheaties box but we all know that he prefers to smoke his breakfast rather than eat it. Although both options do happen to come from a bowl.
I can think of a few different options for the Misty May Treanor Wheaties photo though.

London Olympics closing ceremony
The 2012 London Olympics are officially over. With the closing ceremony -- yet to be shown here in the United States -- feeling much like a musical repeat of the 1990s, I have to say that London's big spectacle was definitely the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics. When your closing ceremony features the likes of actor Eric Idle, Noel Gallagher formerly of rock group Oasis and The Spice Girls, that says to me that the heyday of England was about 15 years ago. Talk about clinging to the past. I was half expecting a hologram of The Beatles to perform while Winston Churchill addressed the crowd. At least The Spice Girls brought with them the possibility of some form of excitement -- I'm thinking nip slip or full-on wardrobe malfunction, maybe even some sort of below-the-waist flash revealing that Victoria Beckham likes to go commando but unfortunately there was nothing more than an appearance by the manufactured girl group showing off the fact that Melanie Brown (Scary Spice if you're nasty) hasn't been doing her cardio (at least Melanie Brown's outfit gave us the possibility of Scary Spice camel toe).

McKayla Maroney is not impressed
Following the U.S. gymnast's sour reaction to receiving only a silver medal at the London Olympics, the "McKayla Maroney is not impressed" meme -- featuring the sour gymnast crudely photoshopped into photos which would normally impress us average humans -- looking straight-up pissed off and unimpressed. Below are some of the best "McKayla Maroney is not impressed" photos.
Of course McKayla Maroney's Olympic teammate Jordyn Wieber is much more gracious -- especially in this bikini photo of the gymnast.

Alex Morgan in underwear - Olympics
Alex Morgan is the fresh-faced heartbreaker of the United States Women's Olympic Soccer Team. Having taken home the Olympic gold medal in the 2012 London games, I figured that it's time to show just how breathtaking U.S. soccer star Alex Morgan is once she's off the field. Check out the photo below of Alex Morgan, one of many stars from the London Olympics, looking hot in her underwear.

Hope Solo nipples - London Olympics soccer
Hope Solo, goaltender for the United States Women's Soccer Team, is the star of the team who is full of stars. Her impressive goaltending lead the U.S. Women's Soccer team to an Olympic gold medal versus Japan and puts yet another notch in what is becoming a dominating run for U.S. Women's Soccer on a global platform. Hope Solo, though, makes her mark in people's memories for being flat out hot. Check out the photo below of Hope Solo in her green goaltender's jersey with her nipples clearly visible.

Hot swimmers - London Olympics
They spend the majority of their time in the water. These hot swimmers have some of the leanest, most toned, sexy bodies of any athletes competing in the London Summer Olympics. THe photos below serve as proof of truly how hot these Olympic swimmers are.

Stream Olympic Women's Beach Volleyball Final
At 4 PM E/T today the two United States women's beach volleyball teams face off to decide who goes home with the gold medal. Of course NBC will show this match at some point tonight during its prime time coverage but the time is unknown and the outcome will already be widely known long before the NBC prime time telecast. The options to see whether Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings win or April Ross and Jennifer Kessy bring home the Gold Medal.
The best option is to head here and stream the match via the BBC. With the London Olympics having only a few days remaining, finding out the results of the live contests without being spoiled or waiting for NBC's prime time telecast is a challenge. I'd choose the BBC stream and catch the action (and all of the butts, nipples and possible camel toe) live like it is meant to be watched.

Sports / games that should be in the London Olympics
Plenty of viable and popular sports are recklessly omitted from the Olympic games and below is an extensive list of sports and competitions which need to be included in the next Olympic games.
Chicken
A two-person team competes against another two-person team in a swimming pool with one person in the water and the other on their teammate's shoulders, wrestling the competitor off of the other team's shoulders. The best of three bouts results in the winning team moving on to the next round of competition.
Dodgeball
It worked in a movie so why can't it work in the Olympics?
Kickball
This summertime sport is hugely popular in park and rec leagues across America so why can't it move on to the next level? It's far more accessible than non-sports like Dressage.
Trench
An aggressive sport pitting two teams against each other, dodging balls from the opposing team and working together to free their captured team members from the opposition's trench. A lot like dodgeball but with more of a battle lean to it.
Floor hockey
Again, a more accessible version of traditional ice hockey. To make it more interesting it could be played on asphalt to increase the rate of cuts, scrapes and abrasions.
Tag
It's self explanatory and it would bring a sense of childhood whimsy to the Olympics.
That's all I can think of for now but what Olympic games or sports would you include in Olympic competition if you had control? Would you add more extreme competitions or include some kick-ass playground favorites?

Synchronized swimming kiss - London Olympics
Ukrainians Daria Iushko and Kysenia Sydorenko are photographed here embracing in a kiss following their synchronized swimming performance earlier today at the London Olympics. The girl on girl kiss was not part of the routine and is not a customary greeting for Ukranians. Daria Iushko and Kysenia Sydorenko kissed each other out of joy after landing in sixth place during their synchronized swimming routine. So what? Two female athletes kissed at the Olympics? This is 2012 after all.

The best faces at the London Olympics
The London Olympics feature much more than female athletes photographed with their nipples straining against their bikini tops and their camel toe on display for the world to see. There are also hundreds of photographs showing painfully contorted faces during competition. Below are the best of the best.
![]() |
Linlin Deng - China - Vault: this Chinese gymnast appears to be constipated - or straining to remain standing. |
![]() |
Kohei Uchimura - Japan - Parallel Bars: again another gymnast appearing to be in pure agony. If gymnastics is so painful I suggest trying Dressage. |
![]() |
Savannah Vinsant - USA - Trampoline: Savannah Vinsant seems to be saying, with this look, that she is just as surprised as the rest of the world that jumping on a trampoline is an Olympic sport. |
![]() |
Maryna Kyiko - Ukraine - Trampoline: I think someone just let a really smelly Olympic-sized fart slip out based on that face. |

Tom Daley - Great Britain - Diving: his face says it all, he just KNOWS that he's a second away from receiving an Olympic-sized enema. |

London 2012 Olympics synchronized swimming sexiness
I have no idea why synchronized swimming is an Olympic sport during the 2012 London SUmmer Olympics but it is and there is artistry, beauty and even a certain degree of sexy to be found. The women are gorgeous, fit, slender, appear to be tall and are full of energy. I'm guessing that these synchronized swimmers are using at least part of their condom allotment while staying in the London Olympic village.
From the fine ass of Kerri Walsh to the Russian tennis team consisting of Maria Sharapova and Maria Kirilenko which has the hottest bodies of any Olympic team in London, the best London Olympic photos are right here. There's pole vaulter Leryn Franco of Paraguay displaying rather prominent camel toe. There is also the tantalizing nipples of Rebecca Soni. There's a never ending parade of nipples, ass, rocking bodies, cleavage, sexy butts and camel toe all updated multiple times per day.

Sexy butts - London Olympics volleyball
The 2012 Olympic Games have taken over London, England and that means one thing - beach volleyball. And with beach volleyball at the Olympics that means plenty of opportunities for intrepid sports photographers to unknowingly capture Olympic athletes showing off rock hard nipples, sexy butts, hot bodies and camel toe as they compete in their given Olympic sport. Check out photos below from a match between Spain and Italy.
![]() |
Spain's Elsa Baquerizo McMillan (R) and Liliana Fernandez Steiner laugh after they collided while chasing after the ball and one rests on the others sexy butt. |
I, for one, wish that the 2012 Olympic Games in London could continue forever because that would mean that the photos and video coming from across the pond wouldn't end either, and would be flush with nipples and camel toe. Keep checking back here as we move in to the second week of the London nipple Olympics steams along.
Check out a whole plethora of both nipples from the Olympics and Olympic camel toe and just downright hot and sexy Olympic photos as the London Summer Olympic games go on.
Russian hotties Maria Kirilenko and Maria Sharapova
While this latest photo gallery of sexy Russian hotties Maria Kirilenko and Maria Sharapova lacks camel toe and obvious showing of nipples, take not of the pure sexiness exuded by the two Marias. Maria Sharapova is widely known for being smoking hot but the real gem of the Russian Women's Olympic Tennis delegation is Maria Kirilenko. The fourth photo of Maria Kirilenko features a nice crotch shot that some may particularly enjoy.

Can nipples be spotted through the spandex outfits during Olympic swimming competition in London? The answer is a definitive yes! Rebecca Soni, pictured below, is proof positive that nipples can most definitely triumph over even the most resilient and streamlined Olympic-grade spandex.
